Mikes coaching enabled me to take my running to the next level. After working with Mike for six months, my average mile time has dropped by almost two full minutes, and it seems like every week I see improvements. Thanks to Mike I can run farther, faster, and longer than I ever have in my life and it feels great. My overall quality of life has greatly improved as well because of his extensive knowledge in high fat diets, and just his overall willingness and patience to guide me through any questions I have. Mike has been coaching me now for about two months and I must say I’ve seen a significant overall improvement in performance compared to when I went at it alone. His plan is simple and easy to understand, he is very communicative, and he really goes above and beyond what it says in the “brochure.” He is pretty quick to respond to a text message or e-mail and that’s important to me. But if he doesn’t respond quickly it’s probably because he’s out on a 20-mile run in the mountains!
"Coming out of the 2019 NYC Marathon, I was injured for the first time, and nothing was helping me get past even one mile without knee pain. Mike's initial consult focused on where I was physically, but more importantly, where I wanted running to take me. I've been working with Mike for nearly two months and it's been a fantastic experience. He puts great thought into my weekly plans and goes the extra mile in delivering clear and succinct videos and providing details for the strength training and stretching to accompany my running schedule. My grand plans are to attempt the Triple Crown of 200s in 2021. That said I'm currently working through an injury and Mike has adapted my current training plan to allow me to keep moving in the right direction while rehabbing my injury. That's telling in his ability to work with an individual and tailor to specific needs while we continue training. I didn't know exactly what to expect when I began working with Mike but I'm looking forward to the months and miles ahead with him.

Michael Mcknight is the real deal. He listens to you and your goals for yourself, and finds every possible avenue to help you accomplish them. When I first started wIth Mike, I was running maybe 2-3 days a week and barely getting 10-15 miles a week. Currently, I’m running 30-40 miles a week, 6 days a week. Which was a goal of mine. His strength training program helped me overcome an injury I had been dealing with for over a year, and I have definitely seen a change in my strength and agility on the trail. More importantly, my confidence level and mental strength have increased. He’s genuine, inspiring, knowledgeable and creative. Most of all, he believes in you and your potential as an athlete.
